Dr Justin Hughes

Dr. Justin Hughes is a Consultant in Sports, Exercise and Rehabilitation Medicine based at Fortius Clinic. His consulting rooms are in the heart of the City of London on King William Street. He is a leader in his specialty and is the current elected Vice President of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM).
Elite Sport Experience and Team Affiliations
Dr. Hughes has extensive experience in elite internation level sport. He was the doctor to World Champion England Women’s Rugby team at the 2014 IRB World Cup. He was the doctor for England RFU U18s Schools and Clubs team. He has also worked with Chelsea FC Academy, Harlequins Rugby, New Zealand Woman's Rugby and UK Athletics. He was the Sports Medicine doctor to Cranleigh School in Surrey. He played rugby for over 20 years He now competes in Triathlon and studies Wadu Ryu Karate.
Education and Healthcare Goverance
Dr. Hughes is actively involved in his speciality. He was Training Programme Director for Sports Medicine in London and was chairman of the National Specialist Advisory Committee. Dr Hughes was a Clinical Governance Assessor for minimum standards in the AVIVA Rugby Premiership.
